Up the Mast

This is one of my favorite boat shots. It is my boat, the Donna Clare, looking up the mast where my virtual-brother-in-law hangs in a boson’s chair retrieving a lost halyard. In the lower left hand corner you can see my maroon colored cap...I am standing at the mast, sweating, winching Ron's body up the nautical spar. And who took this cool shot that captures just enough of everything but not too much of anything? Well, that would be Devyn Jade Rainwater, my niece, who was about 7 years old at the time...she was using a Kodak disposable camera. Good eye Dev!
